Virginia Detailed Topographic Maps (DeLorme Atlas & Gazetteer)

The Virginia Atlas & Gazetteer includes 78 quadrangular maps covering the entire state. The scale of the maps is 1:140,000 (one unit of measure on the map represents 140,000 units of the same measure on the ground). Each map page is composed of 25 minutes of longitude and 27 minutes of latitude, covering an area approximately 22.5 miles (36.3 kilometers) wide by 31 miles (50 kilometers) high.

To create a wall map of Virginia, join the 78 maps together using two atlases. The resulting mosaic will measure approximately 18 feet wide by 9 feet high.
