The Hood River, Oregon Adventure Map (2016 edition) is a waterproof, topographic map (lat/long,UTM grids) that includes route descriptions for the Hood River area including Syncline, Catherine Creek, & Post Canyon. It includes ride descriptions to help you decide how to ride these diverse trail networks.

Hikers and Trail Runners will also find this map useful as it accurately shows all trails with mileage points, streams, lakes, roads, and landownership boundaries.

Known worldwide for its windsurfing conditions, with its spectacular natural terrain, the Hood River area has long been a mountain biking destination as well. As storms rise over the Cascade Mountains, most of their moisture is squeezed out in the form of rain and snow, leaving relatively little precipitation to fall on the east side of the mountains. Hood River lies right along this dividing line between wet and dry, creating the most ideal conditions for mountain biking in the Columbia Gorge area.

Our recently updated Hood River Map focuses on the popular riding areas of Post Canyon, just southwest of Hood River and the Coyote Wall/Syncline/Catherine Creek area, just across the Columbia River and east of town a few miles. The new format allows us to show these spectacular trail networks in better detail. In addition, the sale of this map will serve as a fundraiser for the maintenance and expansion of the Post Canyon network. $2 from the sale of each map will be donated to the land managers to directly benefit the trail network.
